On November 11, RoboSense officially announced that its monthly LiDAR deliveries exceeded 120,000 units in October, successfully setting a new industry record for single-month deliveries. Among them, the milestone 120,000th digital LiDAR unit has been smoothly delivered to a leading global new energy vehicle manufacturer.
This delivery achievement coincides with a key turning point in the development of China’s intelligent driving industry. Since 2025, the popularization of intelligent driving technology in China has accelerated significantly. According to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to July, the sales volume of new passenger vehicles equipped with combined driving assistance systems in China reached 7.76 million units, with a penetration rate as high as 62.6%. Meanwhile, as a core perception component of intelligent driving, LiDAR’s installation volume and penetration rate have achieved simultaneous significant growth. The industry has officially entered the era of mass production with front-loading as standard, and the competition in technological leadership has become the core factor defining the second half of the market pattern.
As an industry leader that took the lead in deploying full-stack self-developed chips in the LiDAR field, RoboSense’s large-scale delivery capability stems from long-term technical accumulation. Since establishing its chip R&D team in 2017, the company achieved a breakthrough in SPAD-SoC chip technology in 2022, becoming the only technology enterprise worldwide whose self-developed chips for the entire digital LiDAR link—transmission, reception, and processing—all meet AEC-Q series automotive-grade standards.
Currently, based on the advanced digital architecture of SPAD-SoC and VCSEL, RoboSense has built the industry’s only mass-producible digital LiDAR product portfolio. Its products such as EM4, EMX, and E1 have fully entered the stage of large-scale mass production and delivery, becoming the preferred configuration for many new-generation vehicle models. It is understood that since the end of September, a number of high-end intelligent vehicle models equipped with RoboSense’s EM4 520-line LiDAR, including ZEEKR 9X, IM LS6, and IM LS9, have successively completed their launch and release.
Industry insiders pointed out that RoboSense’s monthly deliveries exceeding 120,000 units not only marks a new level in the company’s large-scale mass production rhythm but also signifies that digital LiDAR has entered the fast lane of large-scale application. With its full-stack digital chip technology and mature automotive-grade mass production capabilities, RoboSense is comprehensively leading the LiDAR industry into a period of large-scale explosive growth, injecting strong momentum into the development of the global intelligent automotive and robotics industries.
