According to the latest report released by Jon Peddie Research, the total global PC GPU shipments reached 74.7 million units in the second quarter of 2025.
Data shows that global PC GPU shipments increased by 4.9% year-on-year. Among them, shipments of desktop discrete GPUs rose by 11%, while shipments of mobile GPUs grew by 2.5%.

In terms of market share, both AMD and Intel witnessed a decline. AMD’s market share dropped by 2.4% compared with the previous quarter, and Intel’s by 1.9%. Meanwhile, NVIDIA’s market share increased to 24%, up by 4.3%.

Although Intel ranks first in terms of market share, nearly all its shipments are integrated GPUs (iGPUs), with its discrete GPU (dGPU) market share historically accounting for less than 1%. As for AMD, it ships both discrete and integrated GPUs, making it difficult to determine which accounts for a larger proportion.
Regarding NVIDIA, according to the Q1 2025 report, the company already held a 92% share in the discrete GPU market, and this figure is likely to be even higher in the current quarter.

Additionally, in the PC CPU market, overall shipments grew by 12.9% quarter-on-quarter and 7.9% year-on-year. Among CPU vendors, AMD’s shipments increased by 27%, while Intel’s only rose by 2%.
