Star Era Robotics Signs Agreement with SF Technology to Drive Deployment of Embodied Intelligent Robots in Supply Chains

2026-01-16

Yesterday, Star Era Robotics and SF Technology officially signed a cooperation agreement, entering into a strategic in-depth partnership. The two parties will focus on logistics scenarios such as express delivery and warehousing, and jointly carry out the R&D and application promotion of embodied intelligent robot technology solutions.

As reported, the logistics industry is currently facing pain points including labor shortages and insufficient flexibility of automated equipment. Under this cooperation, based on a "joint R&D and deployment promotion" model, the two parties will drive the large-scale implementation of embodied intelligent robots in SF’s supply chain operations. They will also continue to explore application scenarios of embodied intelligence technology in warehousing, express transit and other links, enabling the technology to cover the entire business process including warehousing, distribution and verification, so as to comprehensively improve operational efficiency and quality.

In addition, the two parties will jointly formulate logistics industry standards for embodied intelligent robots, lead the standardized development of the industry, and work together to promote the logistics sector towards a higher level of intelligence and flexibility.

According to research, relying on its self-developed end-to-end VLA embodied model ERA-42, as well as the full-size bipedal humanoid robot Star Era L7 and the half-body modular robot M7, Star Era Robotics has launched an embodied intelligent warehousing and logistics solution covering the entire process of "sorting - scanning - parcel feeding". This solution is deeply integrated with customers’ logistics systems, allowing the Star Era L7/M7 to adapt to operations according to scenario requirements and flexibly respond to multi-specification and dynamic operational needs.

The Star Era L7 stands 171cm tall, equipped with 7-axis anthropomorphic robotic arms, 12-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands (capable of 10 clicks per second), 55 degrees of freedom across the whole body, and 360° vision (Editor’s note from IT Home: binocular vision and 3D lidar). It is also fitted with self-developed joint modules that rank first in performance nationwide (with a torque of 400 Nm and a rotational speed of 25 rad/s), boasts a dual-arm load capacity of 20 kg, and possesses explosive power for 360° rotating and high jumping, along with a record-breaking running speed of 4 m/s.
