Horizon Robotics: HSD Secures Design Wins with 10 Automakers, Covering Over 20 Vehicle Models

    On November 22, Horizon Robotics announced that its HSD urban advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) has secured design wins with 10 domestic and international automaker brands, spanning more than 20 vehicle models. As large-scale installation kicks off in full swing, Horizon Robotics HSD will deliver a more efficient and cost-effective "standardized solution" as a third-party platform, empowering automotive partners to achieve capability leaps in intelligent driving and accelerating the transition of urban ADAS into an "accessible-to-all" era of equality.

    At the Guangzhou Auto Show, which opened on November 21, two new cooperative models equipped with Horizon Robotics HSD urban ADAS and Journey® 6P—Fengyun T9L and iCAR V27—made their official debut. This marks Horizon Robotics HSD’s full entry into the new phase of large-scale mass production. Prior to this, EXEED ET5 became the world’s first model to be equipped with Horizon Robotics HSD and Journey 6P.

    As a leading technology enterprise in the intelligent driving sector, Horizon Robotics has built end-to-end intelligent ADAS capabilities through its core "software-hardware integration" technical path, relying on the Journey series of in-vehicle intelligent computing solutions and the HSD urban ADAS. To date, the cumulative shipments of the Journey series have exceeded 10 million units, making Horizon Robotics the first intelligent driving technology company in China to achieve 10-million-level shipments. With the large-scale mass production of HSD’s first batch of cooperative models, Horizon Robotics has further set an industry record, becoming the first intelligent driving technology company worldwide to mass-produce low, medium, and high-level ADAS solutions.

    The core competitiveness of Horizon Robotics HSD is strongly supported by the Journey 6P, hailed as the "6th-generation intelligent driving computing platform." As the most powerful ADAS computing solution currently available, the Journey 6P boasts a super computing power of 560 TOPS and multi-core heterogeneous computing resources, enabling efficient deployment of large ADAS models such as end-to-end, VLA (Vision-Language-Action), and VLM (Vision-Language Model). Built on this robust hardware foundation, Horizon Robotics HSD adopts a one-stage end-to-end architecture integrated with reinforcement learning capabilities. It features core advantages including low system latency, strong defensive driving capabilities, smooth lateral and longitudinal vehicle control, and continuous self-evolution—greatly enhancing the safety, efficiency, and comfort of ADAS.

    Large-scale mass production is the core criterion for testing an enterprise’s comprehensive strength and market recognition. Since its launch in April 2025, Horizon Robotics HSD has quickly become the consensus choice for mainstream automakers to deploy urban ADAS. The world’s first-equipped model, EXEED ET5, has garnered market attention with its full-scenario ADAS experience characterized by "superhuman reaction, human-like thinking, and anthropomorphic vehicle control." It is now open for pre-orders and will be officially launched on November 28. Another model deeply empowered by Horizon Robotics, DEEPAL L06, comes standard with LiDAR and Journey 6 across the entire lineup. It is the first to be equipped with the DEEPAL AD Max system co-developed by Horizon Robotics, DEEPAL, and Changan Automobile, and was officially launched on November 18. During the Guangzhou Auto Show, four models—EXEED ET5, DEEPAL L06, Fengyun T9L, and iCAR V27—jointly appeared at the "Horizon Robotics Intelligent Driving Technology Tour Club - Guangzhou Station" event, intuitively demonstrating the development vision of "urban ADAS accessible to everyone."

    Horizon Robotics stated that following the 10-million-unit mass production milestone of the Journey series, the company has further set a goal of achieving 10-million-unit mass production of HSD within the next 3-5 years. Through the continuously releasing scale effect, it will accelerate the popularization of high-level ADAS.
