On October 21, Honor and BYD signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen. Leveraging Honor's Vehicle Connectivity Solution and the new-generation smart ecosystem of BYD DiLink, the two parties will center on "people" and deliver more intelligent and personalized mobility experiences based on users' needs in smart travel scenarios.
Witnessed by Li Jian, CEO of Honor Device Co., Ltd., and Wang Chuanfu, Chairman and President of BYD Group, Fang Fei, President of Product Line at Honor Device Co., Ltd., and Yang Dongsheng, Senior Vice President of BYD Group and Dean of Automotive New Technology Research Institute, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties, officially opening a new chapter of in-depth cooperation in smart mobility.
The strategic collaboration between Honor and BYD this time is not only an in-depth synergy between the two technology enterprises in terms of technology and ecosystem, but also a forward-looking layout for the future form of smart mobility. This cooperation will advance in depth around three core priorities: core technology and function implementation, channel ecosystem and user benefits, and joint communication and user reach.
In terms of core technology and function implementation: The two parties will continue to deepen cooperation in cross-device ecosystem integration, AI Agent integration, and high-precision Bluetooth car key, to advance technological iteration.
In terms of channel ecosystem and user benefits: Relying on Honor's vehicle connectivity capabilities and BYD's smart ecosystem, they will build a channel cooperation model of "joint product display + co-managed data" to achieve platform-level benefit connectivity.
In terms of joint communication and user reach: Centering on key events such as new vehicle launches and new device releases, the two parties will jointly carry out creative marketing, co-releases and user operations, and explore more diverse communication formats.
The cooperation between the two parties has a long history. Since 2023, Honor and BYD have achieved technological breakthroughs in the field of mobile NFC car keys, allowing BYD car owners to easily lock and unlock their vehicles using Honor phones. In 2024, their cooperation further expanded to in-vehicle fast charging scenarios. In 2025, based on the deepened synergy of the mobile-vehicle connectivity technology foundation, BYD's Denza brand first accessed the Honor Vehicle Connectivity System, which will gradually cover all BYD brands, enabling seamless transfer of cross-device interactions and services.
