To further expand talent recruitment channels, enrich talent introduction carriers, attract high-level talents at home and abroad and high-quality entrepreneurial projects to settle in, and accelerate the construction of "Kechuang City" (Keqiao Innovation City), the launch ceremony of the "Talents Gather in Keqiao, Shaanxi Shines for the Future" – 2025 Shaoxing Keqiao Talent Recruitment Special Train Tour to Xi'an Series Activities (part of Shaoxing's "One City, One Industry, One Culture" series) was held in Xi'an on the morning of September 17. Xie Guomin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department, and Mao Liqiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department of Xidian University, delivered speeches. District leaders Yuan Xiaowen, Pan Xiaodong, Shen Qinmei, and relevant responsible persons of Xi'an University of Technology and Xi'an Technological University attended the ceremony. Yin Chuan, Leader of Shaoxing Section of Hangzhou-Shaoxing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, gave a promotion presentation on the optoelectronic information industry platform.

As one of the core sub-activities of the series, the 5th China·Shaoxing "10,000 Mu & 100 Billion" New Industry Platform High-Level Talent Entrepreneurship Optoelectronic Information Special Competition – Xi'an University Special Session (including the official competition and the creative project competition) was successfully held. With the competition as a link connecting the two places, this special session further promoted talent exchange and industrial cooperation between Keqiao and Xi'an, and attracted more outstanding talents from Xi'an universities to start businesses and innovate in Keqiao.
At the Xi'an University Special Session, 8 high-quality projects conducted roadshows in turn, attracting more than 30 university research experts, teachers, and student representatives to actively participate in exchanges. The competition specially set up a "University Creative Project Competition" segment, where 3 university scientific and technological achievements with transformation potential registered for participation. Through university-local cooperation, the cross-regional collaborative innovation model of "R&D in Xi'an, transformation in Shaoxing" was further explored.
It is understood that the Xi'an University Special Session has reached preliminary intentions with 4 projects for settlement. Among them, the "Thermal Conductive MEMS Digital Gas Sensor Industrial Chip" project attracted much attention from the judges. This project pioneered the "thermal grid" microcavity array design and 3D MEMS stacking process technology, boasting global leading advantages. The person in charge of the project said: "The Hangzhou-Shaoxing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone has a solid foundation in the optoelectronic industry, a complete industrial chain, and strong policy support, which is very conducive to promoting R&D and mass production."
Another highlight project – the "AI Robot Autonomous Evolution Integrated Software and Hardware Development and Operation Platform" – is based on technologies such as multimodal large models and digital twins. It has independently developed a fully domestic embodied intelligence training platform, breaking through the "bottleneck" problem of simulation training and reaching an internationally leading level.
This activity not only effectively connected the university research resources of Xi'an with the industrial needs of Shaoxing but also fully demonstrated the broad development space and talent opportunities of the Shaoxing Section of Hangzhou-Shaoxing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone. In the next step, the Hangzhou-Shaoxing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone will take the construction of "Kechuang City" as the guide, continue to expand talent recruitment channels, optimize the innovation ecosystem, deepen the construction of the "10,000 Mu & 100 Billion" new industry platform, focus on the optoelectronic information field, accelerate the construction of "Hangzhou-Shaoxing Optoelectronic Valley and Airport Intelligent Innovation City", promote the high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of the regional economy, and strive to build a new highland for the optoelectronic industry in the Yangtze River Delta.
