At the RE+ 2025 exhibition held from September 8th to 11th, Desay Battery, a global provider of integrated energy storage solutions, comprehensively demonstrated its innovative achievements and announced the establishment of a strategic cooperation with Shenzhen Huabao New Energy Co., Ltd. in the field of energy development.
The highlight of this exhibition was Desay Battery's independently developed active safety battery cell and system technology. This technology is committed to addressing the core industry challenge of battery safety. Based on massive experimental data and multi-dimensional correlation analysis, it deeply integrates advanced temperature and pressure sensing technology with AI-driven battery cell architecture, realizing real-time monitoring throughout the product's entire lifecycle. It can accurately identify early risks such as overcharging, short circuits, and lithium plating, transmit abnormal signals in real time, and trigger predictive protection measures.
The newly developed corrosion-resistant sensors further ensure the accuracy of data collection in harsh environments. These sensors can simultaneously capture voltage, internal temperature, and pressure information, forming the "data triangle" of Desay Battery's next-generation Battery Management System (BMS). This solution operates in synergy with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and cloud-based artificial intelligence. While improving efficiency, it optimizes thermal management, refines charging strategies, and extends system lifespan.
In addition to its AI platform, Desay Battery also launched a diverse portfolio of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery products, covering 86Ah, 100Ah, 280Ah, and 314Ah lithium-ion battery cells, 60Ah sodium-ion battery cells, modular battery systems, as well as integrated energy storage cabinets with capacities ranging from 215kWh to 344kWh. Larger-scale systems such as the 5MWh liquid-cooled container solution, along with critical infrastructure products including UPS 2.0 and home energy storage systems, fully demonstrate the company's product coverage capability across multiple scenarios.
The exhibited products highlighted Desay Battery's product portfolio that adapts to the needs of various scenarios. Among them, the solution that addresses data center energy demands by integrating photovoltaic power generation and advanced energy storage technology attracted particular attention. This solution reduces the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) to 0.25 yuan per kilowatt-hour and can save up to 79% of electricity costs during peak hours.
The company also emphasized its ability to provide customized, end-to-end energy storage solutions. This capability has been repeatedly recognized by Bloomberg's Energy Storage Tier 1 Supplier List and is highly acclaimed by industry partners. The newly announced cooperation with Shenzhen Huabao New Energy is a manifestation of this collaborative strategy. The two parties plan to give full play to their complementary advantages in technology, supply chain, and market channels, jointly explore new growth opportunities, and bring more competitive solutions to the global market.
