Today, the new-generation Chinese operating system — Kylin Operating System V11 was officially launched at the 2025 China Operating System Industry Conference. This system adopts the brand-new "Panshi Architecture" (Rock-Solid Architecture), featuring significantly enhanced operating experience, security, and ecological richness.

It is reported that Kylin V11 has five major highlights, specifically including:
Kernel: As the first commercial version based on Linux Kernel 6.6, it accelerates the update and iteration of China’s homegrown operating systems;
Security: Adhering to the consistent highest security level, it further rebuilds a protective shield for users’ security and privacy;
Usability: With accelerated response, smooth operation, multi-device collaboration, and AI upgrades, it redefines the office experience;
Ecosystem: The independent ecosystem development has evolved from "filling the sea with perseverance" to "dancing with giants" — Kylin grows together with its partners;
Applications: End-users are involved in the "co-creation" process, and every small demand contributes to the maximum value of the product.
According to IT Home, as the first homegrown operating system to break through the 1-million-ecosystem milestone, Kylin has achieved full compatibility with mainstream domestic CPUs, GPUs, and boards, building a complete localized ecosystem. It has played a supporting role in major national projects such as the Chang’e lunar exploration program and Tianwen Mars exploration mission, maintained a high coverage rate in the government affairs field, and meanwhile realized long-term large-scale applications in industries including finance, energy, education, and healthcare.
Up to now, over 16 million sets of Kylin Operating System have been deployed.
