Today, Murata China (hereinafter referred to as "Murata"), a world-leading comprehensive electronic component manufacturer, made an appearance at the 2025 Open Compute Innovation Technology Conference (OCP China Day). Centering on the conference theme "Open Transformation: Foundation, Expansion, Evolution", Murata highlighted a range of products including power supplies, inductors, sensors, and new integrated packaging solutions. This year, Murata's innovative technologies and products were once again recognized by OCP, winning the "Open Compute Best Innovation Award". Murata will continue to be committed to providing solid support for the green development and efficient operation of data centers.

With the rapid development of technologies such as cloud services, AI, and the Internet of Things, data centers are facing increasingly growing demands for computing power and electricity, thus urgently needing more efficient and stable power supply solutions. Murata offers a series of power supply solutions for AI products that comply with OCP standards, ranging from complete cabinet power supply boxes meeting the ORV3 HPR standard, to mCRPS power modules, as well as multi-level power products for UBB motherboards and OAM accelerated computing modules. These provide a complete, user-friendly, and diversified set of power solutions for numerous OCP product manufacturers, especially those in AI applications, supporting the development of high-performance computing and intelligent applications.
At this conference, Murata focused on showcasing a variety of power modules, noise suppression components, and sensor products to meet the industry's high energy efficiency needs amid the continuous upgrading of data center technologies.
Power Supply and Battery Solutions
Murata's power supply products can provide power solutions based on OCP standards. The MWOCES-191-P-D1 showcased this time is a 33kW, 19” 1RU, ORV3-compatible power supply frame, capable of providing power supply for up to 6 pieces of 67mm 1U PSU power supplies and 1 piece of remote management unit (RMU). In terms of PSU, the MWOCP67-5500-B-RM2 on display is a high-efficiency ORV3 front-end power supply PSU with 50.5V/5.5kW output and a peak efficiency of over 97.5%. In addition, Murata also brought products including power distribution units, M-CRPS power modules, DC/DC power bricks, and cylindrical lithium-ion battery cells, providing customers with comprehensive and stable power supply solutions covering from power management to battery cells.
Integrated Package Solution*3
Murata's integrated package solution is specially designed for high-performance power modules and semiconductor packaging applications. By embedding capacitor and inductor components into the circuit board, it effectively reduces PDN impedance. Its capacitor built-in via connection method supports a vertical power supply architecture, further improving power supply efficiency and optimizing board-level layout and power integrity. Murata's integrated package solution is applicable to power modules up to 1000A and high-performance IC packages, and can be widely used in terminal devices sensitive to power consumption and space, such as servers, AI accelerators, and optical modules. The modular design helps realize system miniaturization and high-energy-efficiency operation, providing effective support for data centers and computing platforms.
Inductor Product Portfolio for Optoelectronic Applications
Murata's Bias-T inductor solution features excellent broadband insertion loss performance, making it suitable for application scenarios with strict high-frequency response requirements such as high-speed optical transceivers, while balancing performance and space utilization. Murata's DC/DC step-down inductor solution can meet the multiple needs of devices for small size, low height (T=0.8mm.Max), and high current capability. In addition, Murata also brought small-sized, high-performance LC filtering solutions suitable for switch optical interfaces, as well as BLE series ferrite beads corresponding to large currents suitable for network equipment and base stations. The diverse product portfolio fully meets the diversified development needs of network communication equipment.
Barometric Pressure Sensors
At the conference, Murata also showcased devices such as barometric pressure sensors. Developed based on capacitive MEMS technology, Murata's barometric pressure sensors feature waterproof, low-noise, and high-precision characteristics, include temperature compensation, and can perform tilt detection, making them particularly suitable for water cooling systems.
Yang Ning, a senior expert of Murata's power supply products, delivered a speech titled "Murata Power Supply Solutions - Efficient Support for OCP Products" at the "Intelligent Computing Infrastructure Forum" on the same day, sharing Murata's unique innovative technologies. He said, "Currently, with the acceleration of global digital transformation, the power demand and operation and maintenance requirements of data centers are becoming more complex.
